The scarab beetle was a symbol of resurrection, flight and eternal life to the Ancient Egyptians. This scarab pendant has hieroglyphs engraved on the underside of the beetle.

The pendant measures approximately 20.6 mm (13/16") long, 11.8 mm (just under 1/2") wide, 5.5 mm (just under 1/4") thick.
