The scarab beetle was an Ancient Egyptian symbol of resurrection, flight and eternal life. Each side of the ring has a blooming lotus flower on it. Lotus flowers were a symbol of the sun, the creation and rebirth to the Ancient Egyptians. Click on the picture for more angles.
The scarab ring is available in US sizes 8 to 13, in whole and half sizes. Sizes 13.5 and larger are an additional $15.00 US.
The scarab measures approximately 20.4 mm (13/16") long, 13.9 mm (9/16") wide and sits 9.6 mm (3/8") high. The ring measures 5.9 mm (just under 1/4") wide at the back of the band.
In sterling silver the ring weighs approximately 17.3 grams; in gold 21.7 grams, weight will vary with size. The under side of the scarab is carved our to reduce weight.
The scarab ring is available in 14k. White Gold for an additional $25.00 US.
