A Misting™ who can burn pewter is known as a Thug or a Pewterarm™. Pewter increases the physical abilities of Mistborn and Thugs. Pewter allows an Allomancer to perform physical activities longer and greatly increases strength. The increased strength allows an Allomancer to continue fighting after receiving wounds that would incapacitate a normal person.

The Pewter charm includes an un-soldered jump ring.

Each Pewter symbol measures approximately 11.7 mm (just under 1/2") long, 8.8 mm (just under 3/8") wide and 1.3 mm (1/16") thick.
