The snake eating it's own tail, or Ouroboros, has symbolized many things over the ages, but generally represents ideas of recreation of self, unity, and infinity. The ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism world wide.  The

Ouroboros appeared in Ancient Norse mythology as Jörmungandr, one of the children of Loki, who grew so large that it could encircle the world and grasp its tail in its teeth.

The snakes appears to be going through your ears.  The hoop style earrings measures approximately 20.5 mm (13/16") in diameter and 5.4 mm (just under 1/4") wide at the snake's head. 

In sterling silver the pair of ouroboros hoops weighs approximately 4 grams; in gold 5 grams.

Enamel Eyes - For an additional $5.00 US we can fill in the eyes with a color enamel.  Choose from Green, Red, Pink, Purple, Yellow, Light Blue or Dark Blue.

Gemstone Eyes - For an additional $20.00 US, faceted 1.5 mm synthetic gemstones can be set in the eyes. Choose from Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Cubic Zirconia, Emerald, Alexandrite, Ruby, Peridot, Sapphire, Pink Tourmaline, Topaz, or Blue Zircon.

Allow 5 to 7 days from casting date for production of this item.
