The scarab beetle was a symbol of resurrection, flight and eternal life to the Ancient Egyptians.

The flying scarabs measure approximately 18.7 mm (just under 3/4") long, 14.4 mm (9/16") wide, 1.5 mm (1/16") thick, and hang 1 1/4" long.

In sterling silver each earring weighs approximately 2 grams. Includes sterling silver ear wires.

In gold each earring weighs approximately 2.5 grams. Includes 14k. gold ear wires.
